The Oscar nominations are broadly considered essentially the most prestigious awards within the movie trade. They’re given to movies in a wide range of classes, together with Greatest Image, Greatest Director, Greatest Actor, Greatest Actress, and Greatest Supporting Actor and Actress. The nominations are chosen by members of the Academy of Movement Image Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), an expert honorary group of over 6,000 movie trade professionals.
