The School Soccer Playoff (CFP) is a four-team, single-elimination event that determines the nationwide champion of school soccer in the US. The CFP was based in 2014, changing the earlier Bowl Championship Sequence (BCS). The 2025 CFP is scheduled to be performed on January 12 and 19, 2026.
The CFP has been a controversial matter since its inception. Critics argue that it’s unfair to the groups that don’t make the playoff, and that it provides an excessive amount of energy to the choice committee. Supporters of the CFP argue that it creates extra pleasure and drama, and that it provides the perfect groups an opportunity to play for the nationwide championship. Predicting the result of the CFP is a tough job, however there are a couple of groups which might be thought-about to be the favorites.
