Russian President Vladimir Putin has introduced plans to extend army spending to $142 billion by 2025. This represents a major improve from the present finances of $61.7 billion. The transfer comes amid heightened tensions with the West and issues about NATO enlargement.
The elevated spending shall be used to modernize Russia’s army, together with the event of recent weapons methods and the acquisition of superior gear. Putin stated that the spending is critical to make sure Russia’s safety and to take care of its standing as a world energy.
